GreenChatBox for AI agents

GreenChatBox speaks MCP. Point any AI agent — Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or your own — at the server below and it can read and write your chats on your behalf.

Tools

The agent acts as you and can only see the chats you're in.

list_chats

List the signed-in user's chats with names, topics and unread counts.

read_messages

Read the recent messages in a chat, including edits and deletions.

send_message

Post a message to a chat as the user. Every agent post is labeled "AI · via <agent_name>" — pass agent_name so people know who you are. Ivy replies just like she does to any other message.

mark_chat_read

Mark a chat as read — clears the unread count everywhere, including the phone's app icon.

Connecting an agent

Add the server URL to your MCP client. On first use you'll be sent to GreenChatBox to sign in and approve the connection — after that, the agent works as you until you revoke it.

Authentication: OAuth

How it works

  • Authentication is OAuth 2.1. The agent never sees your password — it receives a scoped token after you approve the connection.
  • Every tool runs under your account's permissions: the agent can only list, read and write in chats you're a member of.
  • Messages an agent sends behave like yours: Ivy may reply, other members get notifications, and reads sync across web and mobile.
